Whanganui Counselling Services was built from the ground up, backed by over 30 years of grounded mahi, life experience, skills, and training in working with people, communication and change. This is a professional, confidential, down-to-earth service, built with all the blood, sweat and tears that goes into creating a genuine, authentic service to assist others toward change and moving forward. All sessions are privately funded.

Our kaupapa is simple: come through the door and be seen. We provide the space for you to come and talk with us. We don't like barriers. We want people to be seen. We are here to make that happen. The door is open, nau mai haere mai!  We work at grass roots level - practical, respectful, and downright honest. We focus on clarity, direction, and what matters most to you. No pressure to perform, just be yourself. We like to keep it real.

I'm here to assist you to reach your goals, counselling is an amazing tool - education is a life changer.

People want to be seen. They want a safe place to land. A place where they can unmask a bit at a time, and make sense of what is going on for them. Counselling is not something I take lightly. I have discovered, more often than not - the answers lie within, they're never too far away.
